Party Recap

The bride isn’t a big fan of pink so my sister went with blue and green with a few patterns, including quatrefoil. Sandy of Firefly Confections created the perfect cookie, each guest was welcomed by a blue and white quatrefoil cookie at their place setting. I picked flowers from my sisters yard and created 3 floral arrangements for the tables, how cool is that!?!. It was so much fun decorating these tables, there was no specific rules, we simply made sure each table had a slightly different look.

Decor was not neglected when it came to food, everything tied together perfectly. We were thrilled to work alongside Kori of Paper & Pigtails. The food tent cards were adorable, we used a mixture of yellow and purple to add more pops of color.

The gorgeous cake was created by Dorothy Lane Market and it had different flavors for each tier. My sister did an amazing job picking out the style of the cake, it was the center of attention. The lemon filling was to die for!

The wishes for the bride-to-be were from Eat Drink Chic. We arranged them on wood panels with clothespins and ribbon, such a great display.

The banner was another item created by Paper & Pigtails and we added vintage brooches to the banner as well. My sister created the awesome fabric backdrop for a photo booth area. This backdrop made its way back with me to Florida. The party planners had to take a photo together, of course.

It was an amazing & fun event and I am thrilled I was asked to be a part of it. I can’t wait for another trip to Ohio and I’m sure a celebration of some sorts will be arranged.
