Party Recap

Alice in Wonderland~~~ whimsical, girly, elegance, inspiring just a few words I would associate with the theme for my gals birthday party back in 2014.

I love Alice in Wonderland and I love art & craft!! Planning, organizing & making everything for my gals annual celebration is something I enjoy very much and love to share with others.

This party was held at our home, from initial concept to planning, making the craft / deco to baking and making all food items - it took a few months worth of work & some late nights... but it was all worth it!! As you can see from the photos, the party was amazing..... i loved every bit of it.

The large paper flowers were the most challenging of all of the decorations for the party. Made with printed papers and some recycled material (cardboard tubes) and old book pages as leaves. The large "S" in the background stands for my gals initial and it is made out of tissue paper flowers on recycled cardboard box.

The chocolate dipped tea bag cookies were very time consuming even though they look very simple. The cake at first (when I sketched it up) I thought it would be quite easy, but turned out to be very unforgiving and fragile - the ruffles were so much more difficult & time consuming then I thought they would be!! Hence, not a very good job~~ had to rush at the end!!

After all, my gals had a great day and we as parents also enjoyed a nice whimsical, girly afternoon with friends & families :)
