Party Recap

Sonny's 2nd Birthday.... I got most of the ygg decorations at party city and the dollar store.. gotta love the dollar store. I had a guest list of about 80 people with about 40 of them being kids, and when i was looking for ideas online, everything i found was so cute but for a small party. For it to not be super expensive I tried to keep the color scheme of the characters instead of having everything ygg, that would have cost a fortune and took up too much time, this mama has to work, so the tables were a color of each character, I made some things like his shirt which we got when we seen ygg live, i just added the back piece with his name and age with an iron on transfer i got from michaels, the candy bags were different colors with a thank you sticker to seal them, he had a brobee smash cake that I made and i also had a muno and plex cake made for guests, I made signs that i put by the food, that said there's a party in my tummy so yummy so yummy, and also made signs to hang on the door that said Welcome to Sonny's Dancy dance party. The kids played musical chairs and limbo, they loved it..... they also loved the balloon drop, my first time ever doing one and it was so simple, cant believe i hadn't done it before, and it was 7.99 i also bought that from party city. The party was a complete hit except for the fact that my son took complete advantage of the whole "Its my party and I'll cry if I want to" lol

I actually used the foam craft paper i guess you would call it for brobee's eyes and mouth etc.... to keep it cheaper, easier and faster

I also made the HBD sign on top of the cake, printed it, cut it out, used that foam craft paper for a sturdiness and put in shish kabob sticks
