I have tried to make my own cookies for my sons upcoming baseball theme party but I can't seem to get the consistancy of the frosting right for making baseballs and red stitching. These are awesome. Can you share your frosting recipie? Thanks. Great party pics!

Rachelle, Royal Icing is very simple; 4 cups of powdered sugar, 3 TBSP. Meringue Powder, and Water. I put the meringue powder in a small bowl, Add at least 8 Tbsps. of water and beat it w/ a mixer then add it directly to the powdered sugar. I thin it w/ addt.'l water until desired consistency....Elmer's Glue consitency is what you need to flood fill; you can also drizzle a ribbon of the icing and see if it disappears w.in a few seconds; if not, you still need to thin it out and it should literally drip out of your piping tip. Keep remainder of icing covered w/ either a wrung out/wet dishcloth, or I just press clear wrap directly on the icing itself. I always recommend AmeriColor for food coloring as well. Hope this helps; stitching on the balls will need to be stiffer of course.
