I found the boa at a local warehouse for around $1 but I've seen them at Michaels for $9. Yes they are real goldfish =) Thank you!

I collected baby food jars and filled them with red sour candy for the guests then glued the same blue boa from the fish bowls to the lids of the jars to mimic Thing 1 and Thing 2's hair =)
