Hi Kristine, Liz bought the nipples at Dollar Tree, and we actually had to glue them on because they were too small, and it worked perfectly. I'm sure you can search and find some that are a perfect fit, but they would probably cost more. And she bought the jars at Michaels, they were the plain ones, without the logos, they cost more than the others you can buy at Walmart and stuff. Good luck!! :):)

Do you have a template for the label you used?

We used the 1 quart smooth ball jars, Liz bought them from Michaels. I still have the jar, and it looks like she glued the nipples on. So the ones from Dollar Tree were too small to fit without gluing. But they worked out just fine. I measured the lid, and the nipple would need to be 2.5 inches wide to fit, if you didn't want to use glue. Hope that helps!

were they just normal size nipples and normal size mason jars or were the mason jars a little smaller?
