I am a former high school English teacher now stay-at-home mom of three. I spend my time volunteering for worthy causes and where I am needed most. I also enjoy helping out in my children's schools. I am in two book clubs, one of which is a culinary book club. I follow politics closely and get involved when I feel strongly about a candidate or an issue. I LOVE to plan parties, especially kid parties, but have also orchestrated events such as a reception for the governor, weddings, and two surprise 90th birthday parties. Someday my soul sister-friend and I would like to open our own party planning business when our children are in school full time. I truly believe creativity feeds off of others and I look forward to being inspired by the other contributors on this site as well as playing the muse for others.
