A wife, a mom, that's who I am. I was an ER Nurse and I just cannot take the stress in the ER. I needed a career that I love so I switched to the Information Technology (IT) also known a Nursing Informatics. I love what I do. It's a big change from taking care of patients and now I am involved in building, developing and implementing computer programs to aid nurses, MDs, and other staff in the hospital. I love to multitask (you have to be, if you work in the ER) and I love having projects. My kids are 1 year and 6 days apart and celebrating their birthdays is a pretty BIG deal for me. Since their birthday is so close together, we have it all in one day. I always look forward for their birthdays.
