Kara was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has always had a passion for the creative things in life. In October of 2010 she started an online store called Glitter Girlz Boutique selling boutique merchandise. She soon realized that her true passion was designing parties of all types. Kara decided to take a leap of faith and start LillianHopeDesigns in October of 2011; which was named after her daughter who has been her motivation and driving force for starting this business. She started an Etsy shop not really knowing exactly what to sell. Soon after she fell in {Love} with photoshop and started to design printable party decorations. Kara’s friends and family are constantly asking her for party design advice. She loves giving the advice and helping out with parties in any way she can! So she thought why not start a blog and share her discoveries with everyone! Kara loves to make beautiful parties at affordable prices. She just recently started this blog in April of 2012 and is excited to start sharing great party inspiration with people around the world! Kara is a Christian and thanks God everyday for giving her the opportunity to start this business. She is very excited to see what He has in mind for LillianHopeDesigns. She is a single mom to an amazing little girl, Lillian Hope age 7.
