Bravo Productions also has in-house catering for any type of party. Chef Craig Kohut’s lifelong culinary passion began at an early age in his native Southern California, where he has worked in some of the best restaurants in Orange, Los Angeles and San Francisco Counties. He was inspired by distinguished and talented chefs, who taught him the art of combining and experimenting with different spices and ingredients; the science of cooking, the importance of presentation design, and the zest for knowledge in blending cuisine from all cultures to create great dishes. He also learned there is no job too big or too small.
Chef Craig opened his first restaurant in Long Beach, Calif., where he was Executive Chef & Owner and lent his keen eye and creative artistry to the upscale Creole cuisine. He oversaw menu development, day-to-day kitchen operations, off-premise catering, special events and staff training-ensuring clientele received exquisite experience. For nearly two decades, he has cultivated his talents and expertise working alongside some of the finest and most world-class chefs in Los Angeles. Chef Craig has traveled Europe where he dined and studied the rich culinary traditions and techniques of France, Italy and Spain. He has applied the tremendous skills he has learned from his peers, experiences, and travels into creating fine dining experiences – from an authentic, rustic Italian meal for an intimate dinner party, to a five-star fusion buffet for more than 200 and everything in between.
Bravo Productions has received numerous industry awards, including two Gala Awards by Special Events Magazine in the categories of Best Theme Décor - Budget $20,000 to $50,000 and Best Event Produced for a Corporation or Association - Budget $100,000 to $249,000. Bravo Productions received a Silver Tier Award for Innovation by Corporate EVENT Magazine. We've also been honored with numerous Communicator's Awards of Excellence, several PRism Award and Award of Excellence by the Public Relations Society of America for special event planning. Bravo Productions is the winner of four Esprit Awards and several WESTIE Awards by the International Special Events Society. Bravo Productions is also a two-time award nominee for Event Planner of the Year by Event Solutions Magazine.
