Elevencupcakes was started with the hope to 'bring back the home-based birthday party.' Founder and event designer Holly Downing had recently re-located to the east coast. After seeing the extravagant kids birthday parties that are now becoming the norm, she wanted to offer an alternative for busy parents. With a strong belief that you do not need to spend a lot of money to throw your child an amazing party, elevencupcakes was started to help take some of the stress out of party planning.
