About Darling Chic Design

Hi! I am Karisa and the sole owner of The Darling Chic Design. I am an almost 40 something mom with a young teen and a husband of many years. We also have a four footed child, Taj, our doberman pincher who is 4 years old.

I am an elementary music teacher by day which I thoroughly enjoy. I teach kids from the ages of 3 to 11 as well as special needs students. I am able to help them express their creative side through the gift of music, which is truly rewarding in many ways.

A few years ago I began creating gift baskets to give away as raffle prizes at my shows. I started receiving lots of compliments about my baskets, so I started selling them. I noticed as I began selling them that people were really complimenting me on my bows. I even found out that many of my customers and friends would keep the bows to use over and over again, so I decided to start selling my bows!

Now, I spend my afternoons and evenings making custom bows. I find that being able to work with my hands is very therapeutic and helps to calm me after a sometimes chaotic day of work.

Throughout the shop you will see various bows for all occasions! I truly love creating and hope that you enjoy my personal masterpieces!
