What a unique little treasure! Very old original cardboard thumb tack box what was originally mailed via 3 cent Lincoln postage stamp from Maine. It contains an assortment of tacks, some older than others, including at least one marked President. Also contains a little metal tack lifter as shown in photos.

This is a very old little box of tacks once mailed to a lady named Helen Young. The box is labeled Casco Mailing Box Co , Portland Maine.

On the side is an intact purple 3 cent Lincoln postage stamp which has been cancelled. Very cute addition to a vintage office or collection. Lots of history behind this little gem!
