snips and snails and puppy dog tails...
Nothing compares to the joy of announcing the arrival of a new baby.
"IT'S A BOY" can be hung at a baby shower or on a hospital door. It also makes a darling photo prop for baby's first pictures.
Each cream colored card is cut into a scalloped shape measuring approx. 3.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall. The cards are made from a heavy weight paperboard material, much thicker than cardstock. They are strung on a dark brown satin ribbon that measures around 34 inches long. You can adjust the length of the banner by allowing for more room between the cards and varying how low you swag the ribbon when you hang it.
The letters are hand stamped in several shades of boy (royal blue, turquoise and tiffany blue) and brown acrylic paint. After it is stamped, each card is lightly antiqued with brown ink around the edges for a finished, vintage look. The process of stamping and distressing creates flaws and imperfections that add unique charm to the banner.
Sturdy enough to stand up to years of use, this banner is also light enough to be hung up with just scotch tape.
