For this deer birthday banner I made the SAMPLE banner on 4x4 inch brown chipboard. I stamped the letters with light blue acrylic paint. Then to frame the wording I permanently attached a brown card stock buck at each end. This client wanted antiqued edges but you can also get them left clean if you prefer. I strung the banner with navy ribbon and did matching bows at each end. Note the flaws in the stamping process-that's what gives these banners their vintage look and feel.

You can get the 6 foot chevron garland with your banner is you choose. The card stock pieces are machine sewn in a continuous straight line with white thread. We leave excess thread at each end for hanging. The chevrons measure approx 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 inch. The colors shown on the sample are: navy-light blue-tan-ivory and kraft. You can get whatever color combo you need. Simply include your choices from the color chart shown on the last photo.
