"When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings; name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done."
This original design is made of a heavyweight paperboard, much thicker than cardstock. It is light enough to hang with tape, yet durable to reuse many times. COUNT your BLESSINGS measures 45 inches wide and 14 inches tall when hung as shown. Each card is a 4.5 inch square and is strung on a generous length of golden ribbon. You can put more space between the cards if you prefer a longer banner.
I hand-cut and hand-stamp each card. The flourishes on the corners and behind each letter are painted in a shimmering gold and the letters are chocolate brown. For a distressed look, I rub the edges of the cards with brown ink. The design is intentionally flawed, so your banner will look slightly different than the pictures. It's the imperfections that give each banner a unique vintage feel.
