Who couldn't use a little extra luck now an then? Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with this banner and invite the "LUCK of the IRISH" into your life!
This handmade, original banner measures about 50 inches long when hung as shown. Each card is a 4.5 inch square. You can make this banner shorter by hanging it a bit more droopy or make it longer by moving the cards apart and showing more ribbon in between.
The words "LUCK" and "IRISH" are stamped with kelly green flourishes and dark shamrock green letters. The words "of the" are stamped in a shimmering metallic gold paint. After I stamp the cards, I use brown ink to distress the edges, giving the banner a warm, finished look. The cards are then strung on a generous length of soft gold ribbon.
This banner is durable and sturdy enough to be used for many years. The cream cards are made of a heavy weight paperboard, much thicker than card stock. This banner weighs about 5 ounces and can easily be hung with scotch tape. It also folds up for easy storage.
