This precious victorian doll with warm brown eyes and beautiful blond curls is looking for a loving home. I came across this rare 100% cotton vintage V.I.P screen print by the Cranston Print Works Co. and I just knew I had to bring it to life. The fabric was produced in 1991 so this little girl has been patiently waiting for a very long time!
This pretty little girl wears a blue frock and bonnet with pink accents. She clutches her favorite cuddly teddy bear and has a little hand bag hanging from her wrist that is accented with a ribbon and flower. When turning the doll around you'll see other cute details such as the flowers on her bonnet, the ribbon ties on her dress, and you'll notice that she is standing in a little patch of green grass with yellow and pink flowers. So sweet!
I pre-washed the fabric in a dye and perfume free detergent and then carefully stuffed the doll with brand new polyester fiberfill after machine sewing. She has a flat weighted bottom so that she stands upright all on her own. Because of the weighted bottom, this doll is not intended to be cuddled and carried around. Instead she would make a beautiful decorative addition to a doll lovers home, or a vintage themed room or nursery. She can even be used as a door stop!
The doll measures approximately 17.5 inches tall and 8 inches wide.
This lovely vintage fabric Victorian doll is truly a rare and beautiful find. She'd love to call your home her home sweet home too!
