Party Recap
On my 30th birthday I wanted to poke a little fun at myself by refusing to call it a 30th birthday party. So the 2nd Annual 29th Birthday party idea carries through all of the activities with a comical focus and celebrating youth. Hosting it at a local volleyball bar was perfect for our group of adults that remain active, even at our ripe old age of 30+!
Party Highlights
-
Desserts
We opted to skip traditional cake since the whole party was outside and guests arrived (and left) throughout the day. Instead a friend made home-made cupcakes for the candles. Plus we set out bite-size sugar cookies by Astonishing Cakes decorated to match the color scheme.

Party Favors
The party favors were the life of the party! We set out sweat bands, Wayfarer sunglasses, and write-on eye blacks that helped the guests "Put on their Game Face". To help our guests "Look 29 Forever" we put out spf lip balm and sunscreen to protect them from the hot sun on the volleyball court. All signs, the banner and the invites were designed by D&P Celebrations. They did a wonderful job helping me with wording and the overall vibrant look I wanted.
