A 'Fin'-tastic 'Shell'-abration!

This was another double birthday party for my boy (7) and girl (5) held at Emler's indoor swim school pool. This was a double-themed party with Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and Ariel (Little Mermaid)! The kids had a blast in the enclosed pool room with 2 lifeguards, while the parents watched and relaxed in the quiet viewing room! Pizza and cupcakes were served after swimming, along with present time. Fun party favors were given to our gracious guests! Everyone had a blast!

• Desserts

  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cupcakes - green covered strawberries on chocolate icing, strawberry/chocolate cake. Mermaid Fin Cupcakes (for Ariel) - sugar cookie fins with green sprinkles diving into ocean icing and strawberry cake!

• Party Favors

  TMNT Favors - Foam nunchucks (Dollar Tree), Ooze in labeled baggies (Dollar Tree barrels), TMNT sticker & Airhead candy. Bagged in paper sacks decorated with TMNT masked faces! Ariel Favors - Ariel tatooed homemade glycerin soaps, magic towel ($1) & Ring Pop in clear bags tied with a mini loofah.   Mio-flavored Blue Rasberry Water (aka Ocean Water) and bottled waters

• Best Moment

  Blowing out the candles for each kiddo. Always special to watch their faces as the crowd sings. Oh! and watching our youngest guest, Miss Hannah (2), have a ball in the water and on the slide with her daddy. <3

• Funniest Moment

  When the first nunchuck broke 2 minutes after it was opened. That's Dollar Tree toys for ya! ;)

• Most Touching Moment

  Brennan's thankfulness to his friends who gave him gifts he loved. :)

• Best Dressed

  Darby wore her Ariel suit like Ella!
