A Nutcracker Ballet Inspired Party
ByParty Recap
Tis’ the season to spread Christmas cheer, and what better way to celebrate the holidays than with a sleepover party? Each year we host a Christmas-themed sleepover for my kids and their cousins. To make things extra special, we carefully curate different themes every year for a little added surprise and delight, complete with festive decor and matching PJ’s of course!
Party Highlights

What People Ate
No winter party would be complete without hot chocolate, activities and sweets! Sugarplums aren’t the only treat on this menu. Holidays are for feasting on dreamy desserts and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to create the perfect sweets for our holiday soiree. These nutcracker rice Krispy treats are so easy to make and will leave you dancing on your toes all night long!

Party Favors
Natural wooden nutcrackers and assorted colors and sizes of bottle brush trees adorned the center of the table. For each guest, a place setting came complete with custom holiday partyware, personalized ornaments, and perfectly themed paper placemats replicating the characters from “The Nutcracker”.

Activities / Games
We encouraged the kids to unleash their inner Picasso by painting their own wooden nutcracker keepsakes. In the seasonal spirit of giving, it was only fitting to send them off with a fun parting gift reminding them of this special time together for years to come.
