A Super Mario 5th Birthday

For his 5th birthday, my son Camden wanted a Super Mario theme.

• What People Ate

  Guests were served Flower Power vegetables and dip, Piranha Plant fruit skewers, pizza rolls, and pigs in a blanket.

• What People Drank

  Drinks were bottles of brightly colored Hawaiian Punch wrapped with Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach labels served up with moustache and crown topped straws.

• Desserts

  Sweet treats available included Star shaped Rice Krispie treats, Cloud meringues, candy and a giant cupcake cake turned 1-up mushroom.

• Party Favors

  Favors included a variety of Mario themed items including Knex mystery bag figures, Mario Fruit snacks and gummies, and gold chocolate coins.

• Activities / Games

  Plasma cars emblazoned with the Mario and Luigi symbols were available to race on the racetrack painted basement floor. The party favors were obtained by each guest punching through a Mario brick or mystery box attached to the wall.
