Party Recap
My daughter loves all the colors of the rainbow, and rainbows themselves. So planning a rainbow party was obvious for this colorful girl! I knew that I wanted to incorporate all the colors into everything. I wanted to have a candy buffet so that the colors could be displayed. We did sand art with rainbow colors, and had a water balloon launch with rainbow water balloons. It rained, and there were other crafts to do (but we spent so much time on the crafts we did have) so we weren't able to do the other crafts that got wet. We ended up bringing the sand art inside on the living room floor. It stopped raining and the kids went outside for water balloon fun after their sand art. Then we let the kids hit the pinata. Note to self, never make a pinata out of cardboard and duct tape again, it was indestructible.
The favors were sand buckets that were personalized and personalized water bottles. There were rainbow pencils, rainbow crayons, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and rainbow note pads. I made homemade rainbow colored play doh and put into separate containers for favors as well.

Photographer
I hired a photographer this year to help take some pictures so that I would not miss out on any great pictures from being busy. She was great! She was wonderful with kids and I will definitely consider hiring her again in the future!
