Party Recap

This Construction theme party was for a 3 year old little boy at a public park. There were different stations for the little ones to enjoy instead of doing organized games(they were too little for that). We had a giant cardboard box for them to paint. Our local Lowe's store generously gave us some of their kids construction aprons to use. They came in handy at the paint station! We also had a lego table to build towers, a tool table with various tools to go to work, giant building blocks that they had to stack up and knock down with a crane(large ball wrapped in black wrapping paper and tied to a tree), and last but not least, my favorite activity, was the road we made with white and yellow duct tape and a friend of mine made construction trucks out of cardboard boxes for the kids to wear and race along the road. It was a big hit with all of the children!!

How did you make the ball work as a wrecking ball? I love the idea and want to use it for my son's birthday next month!
