Party Recap

Fourth of July is just around the corner and we couldn’t be any more excited to introduce our super patriotic All American 4th of July Party Printable Collection for 2014! We LOVE classic stars and stripes and patriotic flags and patterns!

We pulled together this party photo shoot in less than 48 hours by using some decor from our home as well as some fun finds! The desserts (almost) all shown in this party were made by yours truly in that 48 hours and we can’t wait to share the simple food and decorating ideas with you!

One of the biggest questions we get about our parties is that they want to know how “do-able” the ideas are. ALL of the ideas we show are totally “do-able” but if you are busy in the summertime and want to just pull together an impressive party with simple desserts that are crowd pleasers, as well as tips to transform the ordinary into something special with printables….then this is the party for you! (Hint: Printables TOTALLY help pull together your theme because they can dress up almost ANYTHING! (even a store bought apple pie!))

One of the easiest desserts to make is a Rice Krispie Treat, right!? So why not make a Rice Krispie Treat CAKE!?
How about some printable toppers to pull it together for your 4th of July theme that say “Snap”, “Crackle” and “Pop” just like fireworks (and Rice Krispies!) This literally took 30 minutes to make and totally goes with the theme by adding the printables and some ribbon!
Nothing says “All American” like ice cream, right!? Well, we made these super fun 4th of July Ice Cream Cone cupcakes (Notice the chocolate rim and white sprinkles) and stuck one of our heart flag printables in the top and they were a hit! (We will share how to make these cupcakes soon! So simple and the kids adore them!)
These fun paper hanging fans and lanterns prompted me to design the new Printable All American 4th of July Collection! (in our shop for only $12.50 here!)
The printables include 2 styles of water bottle / drink wraps and they say I heart USA…. so you could even use these for memorial day!
S’mores are totally All American, too! We love designing s’mores bag toppers and they are PERFECT for the 4th of July!

For the bags below, we used the flat marshmallows and used a small star cookie cutter and cut out tiny stars. So cute! We topped them with our printable bag topper found here.
The party room was simple and classic! Notice the star wrapping paper runner on the kids table…. So easy and that adds a huge pop of color!
The banner from the printable collection comes with the flag shape similar to those flags people hang on their porches! So fun!
The daisies from my yard were a perfect touch to add a “live” All American element, too! Oh, and these fans were from Dollar Tree, too!
The individual apple pies were not homemade, I will say! They were mini ones from Walmart!
S’mores are ALSO cute in little clear boxes (from Nashville wraps) with the printable favor tag! How patriotic can you get!? (How cute can you get with my little guy’s blue eyes, too!?)
Apples are SO patriotic already, but add white chocolate and red drizzle stripes and a printable flag and you’ll make jaws drop!
