Austin's Pumpkin Patch Party

In celebration of his first birthday, Austin invited family and friends to join him in the Pumpkin Patch.

Harvest colors of orange, yellow, brown, and green were prominent throughout the home, as were pumpkin, scarecrow, and tractor images.

Guests were welcomed to Austin’s Pumpkin Farm amid pumpkins, bales of hay, and scarecrows. Table decorations included a burlap runner, pumpkins, and “pumpkin vines,” as well as “Austin Pumpkin Patch” centerpieces.

Austin displayed one of his Award Winning Pumpkins complete with honor medallions on the Party Table.

• What People Ate

  The food was fabulous, and included Harvest Minestrone Soup, Garden Salad, Corn Maze Bread, Finger Sandwiches, Apple Dip, Corn Dip, chips, and fresh fruit.

• What People Drank

  Assorted soft drinks, orange punch, and water bottles with personalized party themed labels. Straw flags brightened beverage cups.

• Desserts

  The centerpiece of the sweets table were the birthday party "Hayride" cupcakes displayed on miniature bales of hay, and adorned with Pumpkin Patch cupcake toppers. The dessert table featured many traditional favorites including Austin’s Award Winning Pumpkin Pie, Haystacks, Scarecrow Munch, “Baby Pumpkin” cake balls, and Pumpkin candies.

• Party Favors

  Iced pumpkin cookie party favors were displayed in a Farmer’s Market crate with tags that read “Thanks for visiting the Pumpkin Patch.”

• Activities / Games

  A pumpkin trivia quiz was fun for the adults, as was watching the birthday boy enjoy all of the wonderful gifts. Organized play activities were available for the children.
