Ava Marie's Dancey Dance Party

We had a blast at Ava's first birthday party..More importantly Ava had a blast ! I never thought that such a young child could have so much fun, she totally knew it was HER day. We played lots of music. The children danced. We played "Hold Still" a freeze dance game. Musical chairs, Hula Hoop contests. All with prizes for the winners.

*I had a table of handmade goodies for the kids including Brobee and Foofah goodie bags that i made, animal cracker boomboxes, Yo gabba gabba decorated bubbles and play dough. All very simple and super cute. Also a photo banner that i made of my daughters first year of life.

* Ava's cake was "semi-homemade" I ordered the cake plain from my local publix bakery because I can admit I am certainly no baker however I made all the fondant accents myself as well as the cupcakes I ordered them plain and simply decorated with sprinkles. I made Oreo pops, Rice Krispy treat pops.

*Kiddie table for arts and crafts. Children age range 1-9. We played with paint. It was an idea i saw on pinterest super easy and mess free. We used Large gallon freezer bags and added a couple of primary color washable paints inside. and let the children mix the paint, they really enjoyed it . Coloring book pages and Crayons. Scrap papers scissors glues the kids got very creative and made many things. It was nice because they were able to take them home .

Our party was a success we had a blast. Cant wait till birthday number 2 ! Thank you to all my guest that attended<3
