Party Recap
I was so excited for Avery's first birthday that I started planning it shortly after he was born! We live near a lake, so I rented the pavilion at the beach for his sailboat party. What a perfect place to watch the boats go by!
The smash cake and cupcakes were made by a friend. His smash cake was rainbow inside. The 3 flavors of cupcakes were a definite hit....apple pie, Snickers, and caramel vanilla.
The favors were Hershey's bars for the adults and plastic toy boats, sand molds, and candy treats for the children. I found the boats at Wal-Mart for $1 and the sand molds were from Dollar Tree.
I made the birthday banner using an Ellison cutter at school.
The table decorations were balloons and seashells and sailboat confetti sprinkled down the center.
The adirondack chair, resin sandpail, and resin crab on the dessert table as decorations came from Lowe's. The fabric for the table cloth on the dessert table came from Wal-Mart.
