Avery's 5th Birthday

We had my daughter Avery's 5th birthday party at a local gymnastics place. She loved playing with her friends there. I knew I'd have to keep the food/cake table pretty simple, as I had to transport everything there. But I feel like I was able to still make it feel special. We did a Rapunzel theme in mostly purple and yellow.

• What People Ate

  pizza, homemade braided bread sticks, jello cups with whip cream, fruit, and cake

• What People Drank

  capri suns for the kids, water

• Desserts

  jello cups and a 5 layer cake I made

• Party Favors

  I got all the party favor items at Target. My sister, Jaime, designed my invite and my favor tags and jello toppers.

• Activities / Games

  The kids played in the gym first. That took up the whole time, other than the last half hour where we ate and sang to the birthday girl.
