Backyard Campout

So when I asked my son what he wanted to do for his birthday, he excitedly replied that he wanted to go camping. Where he got the idea, I have no clue, but camping is what he wanted so tha's what we planned. A night out on the lake with a tent and all! Roasting marshmallows, telling stories by the fire, we were ready! But sadly our plans fell through and I had to come up with something last minute. So with 4 days time I had so come up with out own little camp site at home. I dug up boxes from previous parties and found some things I could re use and came up with the idea for a simple s'mores bar for the boys. With A LOT of help from my glue gun and some dollar store items my s'mores bar came together at less than $50!! Everything came out adorable and the boys had a ton of fun picking out toppings for their s'mores and s'mores cones. They had a camp fire, they had a tent, and they had s'mores, I would say that sounds like a succesful camp out ;)
