Bar Cart Styling: Happy New Year!

I can't believe 2016 is just about over...where did this year go? I have so much to be thankful for in this past year, it really was a blessed year! I am looking forward to ringing in the New Year and wish for another wonderful year ahead, excited to see what 2017 has in store!

We don't tend to go overboard on New Year's, to be honest it never really has ranked very high on my holiday list. Maybe I just have a hard time with good-byes, haha. I have never gotten all dolled up and tend to keep it casual with friends. Since having kiddos this has become the norm! This year is no different, it will be a casual evening at home with a couple friends and all the kiddos running around like crazy.
Decorations are even more simple...I opted for a bar cart with a few sweets, and drinks. Doesn't have to be elaborate to be beautiful!
I used greenery I had from my yard, a large basket of pine cones (I found in the yard too), a few cake plates and items I had in my home. Grab your favorite drink mixers and you are set!
Everyone needs a little sweet in their life, and tonight is no exception! Lets be honest...aren't we all making the traditional resolution of eating better, tomorrow? I know I need to! Stop by your local bakery and pick up some treats. It makes your life easier and you will have dessert to share with your guests.
Don't forget the pop-its for the little's, easy way to keep them occupied for awhile and they are fun! Does your family set off fireworks for the New Year? Always fun to see the night sky light up!
