My daughter who was turning 5 loves all things pink, girly and adores both makeup and Barbie...so we planned a Barbie Makeup party that was glamorous and VERY pink.

Idea

Party Highlights

  • Desserts

    PINK cupcakes, PINK cookies, and PINK chocolate dipped marshmallows.

  • Activities / Games

    In addition to getting dressed up and applying makeup, the guests played "pin the sunglasses on Barbie" and also made their own bracelets with beads.

  • What People Ate

    Lunch was pizza and strawberries (the bday girl's favorite food.)

  • What People Drank

    PINK lemonade

    Yes it was. We just cut out the front and wrapped both the inside and outside with wrapping paper. Then we enlarged a copy of the Barbie logo on a photocopier and cut them out on sticker paper. Very simple...but a little time consuming.

    It is one of those stands you buy to put in your pantry to hold canned goods. I simply wrapped it in wrapping paper and added stickers. It really is the perfect size for 12 cupcakes.
