Hello Deana, the sea life props are cardboard and I glued them to styrofoam and cut them and glued to a wood base with sea life accessories. I bought then at oriental trading. I used also a lot of garden accessories that you can find at Lowe's, home depot, Kmart. the wood cut outs, I made them with a painter, I gave her the images of the characters I wanted and she painted them in wood and then cut them out.
