Party Recap

It was a camping theme for Annamarie that we called "Camp Annamarie". She love pink, purple, and turquoise so we stuck with those color for the color scheme. Since we dealing with 12, 1st grade girls we decided to do a mock camp out, aka each girls went home to sleep:)
We have a drop down screen in the backyard, so we decided to watch a movie with the girls in their PJ's with their favorite pillow and blanket. We found a tutorial for handmade tents and made 6 of them. We didn't have enough room to make one for each girl, and they end up costing around $12 each to make so we stuck with the girls getting the tents and sharing.
I found little things like the wooden hearts for the dessert display at World Market. They looked woodsy and had a sparkle to them and were perfect for the background. I bought cheap pie tins for plates at Dollar Store, and then went to Party City to get turquoise and hot pink napkins and utensils. I found some pine cones on sale at Hobby Lobby and spray painted them in turquoise and hot pint and spread them out on the tables. I also bought extra fleece blankets at WalMart because it turned off pretty cold, I was lucky to find some hot pink and purple blankets for $2.99 each.

We decorated frames I got at Michaels that I had spray painted to match the color scheme. I got the rhinestone stickers from Hobby Lobby on sale for the girls to use to help decorate them. I took a photo of each girl with Annamarie and then gave them the photos to put in the frames.
