Party Recap

We decided to have a "come comfy and wear your sweats" valentine banquet party at church this year. Thus the decor was kept simple and low key. I found most items at the dollar store and craft store. Mason jars in a pack of 12 from Walmart. Got the pots from Walmart, (decorated them) and added the dirt and plants from Home Depot. Chalk was from target and black cardstock from michaels. Napkins dollar store, plates and cups we already had, and we made a super easy and delicious red punch from cranberry juice and sprite. I colored rice in pink and red (again super easy- tutorials all over the net. ) twine from michaels and candles and pipe cleaners from dollar store. Everyone loved it! We payed pin the heart, pick up conversation hearts with chop sticks, make conversation heart sentences, put the pillow case on the pillow with hand behind your back and one hand with partner, and question and answer (newly wed game) from older and younger couples. It was a blast! And so NOt stressful.
