Party Recap

We had my daughters 4th Birthday Party at a local Horse Park. They had a petting zoo and the kids were able to ride ponys and play on a bounce house. It was perfect for the age range of kids we had. For party favors all the boys were given mustaches and the girls were given hair bows with cowgirl hats that i made. I had apples and carrots available for the kids to feed the animals as well. Their take home favor was the awesome cowgirl cookies in a jar from www.bakerella.com.

These are great! How did you make them?

@erin- they are hair clips, the hats are from the doll section at hobby lobby where you make your own dolls, and then i took the ribbon and glues them in loops and then just glued them one on top of another and glued them to a hair clip i bought the hair clips that have a square flat metal piece..

Hey I was wondering how did you make this? I <3 it!!!

@holly, it consist of a foam ball that you can buy 2 for 4.00 at walmart, ribbon of different widths, a wood dowel (sp) stick ..i cut all the ribbon the same length about 2 inches and then i hot glued the ends together to make a loop and then hot glued them to the ball in an arrangement..for the base you can use a cute little metal bucket or a small terra cotta pot holder and spray paint it..i put small rocks in the bottom and then floral foam that i bought from dollar tree to hold it still..
