Daddys Surprise 75th

Many years ago our Dad began giving our stepmom Helzberg Diamond Jewelry. Their logo is I AM LOVED. He then began giving each of us 3 girls items from their store along with their Teddy Bears. When it came time to plan the party...the I AM LOVED theme was a no brainer! We were able to order their logo pins for everyone that attended and we shared our little family secret that Daddy started over 30+ years ago! It was amazing and so very special. He cried tears of joy and thanked each of us for picking, "I AM LOVED" as his theme. He now is passing this tradition on to our grandchildren! PRICELESS MEMORIES!!

  When Daddy's brothers and sisters all grouped together to tell silly stories of how our grandmother tolerated them all. It was so incredibly special to have Aunts and Uncles fly in from 5 states to celebrate this event!!

  trying to get ALL these adults outdoors to take a group shot...wow...and we thought kids were difficult to follow directions! :)

  We centered Dad in the middle of the room and had everyone tell how they knew him. THIS WAS SOOO HELPFUL in obtaining photos!! It was quite sweet and comical to hear stories about Daddy as each person told a special memory or how they met!

  How to throw off a suspecting guest of honor! We had a trip planned to the mtn's of NC to meet up with my sister. Work had to be done on their lodge...so....Daddy thinking we're going to work and cut down trees, etc.... Well, we actually had the tree cut down before we arrived. A very special "twin tree" that was house/deck was built around. When an unexpected 8" of snow arrived we were stuck on the mtn....we baked Daddy a cake and gave him a few gifts there, his I PAD and other things like a personalized tie and cigars, wine. He believed this to be his BIRTHDAY, period! GREAT GREAT thinking on my older sister!!
