Party Recap

My son wanted a Lego Dino party to celebrate his 6th birthday. So, after searching the internet for ideas, we came of with a party plan and yellow and black color theme.

We had legos set out to play with when guests arrived, but the play structure in the backyard was just too tempting, so the party plan had to be revised. We started with water play in the backyard via a water shooting volcano and spray arches. Then, moved to Lego construction and food. Finally, we finished the party off with a dino egg hunt in the front yard (I had made dino eggs out of salt dough wrapped around small plastic dinosaurs).

After singing and cookie cups, children took home a paper mache dino egg filled with tattoos, candy, and a Lego figurine.

Kim, I used a projector to project them onto thin plywood. Then, cut them out and painted them.

Jessica, I didn't purchase them, I did the layout in Adobe Illustrator and printed them myself. If you want me to edit the design and send it to you, I can. Just e-mail me at [email protected]
