Party Recap

Another supper club, another great feast. At the end of last summer, we said goodbye to the peak of the farmers’ market with a farm-fresh theme.

Mixing a little summer and a little fall in the decorations, the table was covered in this pretty mustard-yellow, acorn-filled William Sonoma tablecloth (I try to buy something new on sale at the end of every season). Same goes for the adorable wooden pig and chicken napkin rings. Somehow these random purchases always find their way to the table.

To break up the pattern, masking paper served as placemats. The best (and way cheapest) kind is from the hardware store – buy the stuff carpenters use to keep your floor from getting damaged. It’s sturdier than regular old kraft paper.

And finally, I cut out different barnyard friends for name cards. A toothpick held them up in the apples.
