I created this Fireman Party for my little boy's
second birthday. He loves firetrucks and his favourite cartoon is
Fireman Sam, so when I found the design of Fireman Sam's truck in a cake
decorating book, I knew I had to make THAT cake for him !
I wanted to style a dessert table that would make the firetruck cake
stand out so I made it look like a town on fire with treats "hidden" in
the decor: the fires coming out of the window are cake pops and the
ladders are cookies !
I also made some cute little favor boxes in the shape of buildings and
filed them with "fire" sweets (red, yellow, orange jelly beans).
The birthday lunch was served in FIRE buckets.
Our little guests were super excited about all the treats and were very
happy to fill their buckets before taking them home!
