Party Recap

Being in the party business, I always loved seeing my customer’s parties coming together but I don’t often get a chance to use my printables for my own celebrations. So when my friends asked me about my Baby Shower, I insisted on designing the decorations.

I’m having a girl, so I wanted something girly in soft colours. I didn’t have a particular theme in mind, so I came up with this floral design in pastel pink and purple tones and I love how simple and sweet this Baby Shower theme turned out.

It was an intimate shower for 10 of our closest friends and family, hosted at our house. We styled a simple dessert table with a few sweet treats including blueberry and cream filled meringue nests, strawberry mousse, “brigadeiros” (chocolate fudge), ice cream cake pops and a chilled strawberry iced tea to cool down on that hot Autumn afternoon.

The decoration was completed with an assortment of handmade tissue paper flowers on the wall, in pink and purple colours to go with the theme.

Guests received a small personalised chocolate bar as a thank you gift at the end of the party.

Now that I’m becoming a mum there will be plenty of opportunities to style beautiful parties and I can’t wait for all the celebrations to come!
