Party Recap

A "Where the Wild Things Are" party at the Houston Zoo....yes, please!

I secretly have a wish-list of party themes that I just hope someone calls me to style....and this was on it! Was super excited to put this theme together for this adorable family!

When working at many venues, the set-up time can be limited, and this was definitely the case at the Houston Zoo. 30 minutes. That can be tight with a larger the life styling vision. So, in order to accomplish a well styled event that worked for this joint boy party that could be pulled off in that time frame, we had to keep things streamlined, simple and assembled prior to the set-up time.

I love the decor for this theme! I was curious if the backdrop was made from multiple grass mats (found at craft store). Awesome job!

How did you make the backdrop?

The backdrop was actually a single sheet of greenery attached to a thin piece of plywood and then the balloons added.

I can't seem to find the birch paper runner on Paper Source. Can you tell me what you typed in or if they no longer have it?

Hello! Do you recall the dimensions of the balloons and the greenery panel?
