Selected as Party of the Day on August 3rd!
Good Night Good Night Construction Site
ByParty Recap
I planned this party for a wonderful couple and their son that was turning 1 and was based off of the book "Good Night Good Night Construction site". I feel in love with the theme right from the beginning. First, I wanted to create a construction site without the normal "orange" color so it matched the cover of the book. The venue was absolutely beautiful so we added some themed accents so people would know right away what the theme was. The cake was one of my favorites and was created to look like a book. The cake also featured 2 of the birthday boys favorite pages from the book. We also had huge balloon structures to match the theme placed inside and outside the party venue. For activities, I hired a caricature and for the younger kids, we had a themed coloring station and temporary tattoo station. For food, we had Macayo's set up a great buffet style lunch, we had plenty of yummy treats for everyone and a Cappuccino Bar for adults. We ended the party with ice cream by Sub Zero, which was so much fun! The guests loved watching their ice cream being made right in front of them. What a treat!
