Party Recap

My son loves pancakes and wants homemade ones every morning. He also lOves his pajamas so I figured the perfect third birthday party would be based on the childrens series "if you give a pig"...we read both "if you give a pig a pancake and if you give a pig a party" books regularly. All of his friends loved coming to the party on a Saturday morning in their pajamas and enjoyed making pancakes with a "toppings" bar! Then we played outside in the sandbox and play ground, as well as having a piñata and finally cupcakes!
I found an amazing vender on etsy.com that hand drew my invitations, banners and the thank you cards. Each was uniquely different and attention to detail was perfect.
Then I had an etsy vendor make his cute birthday boy shirt, and another vendor made the coordinating pajama pants. I then used my own creative side and printer to make "hunters house of pancakes" branded labels. These labels were used throughout the party to label the food stations, the syrup containers, the cups and paper goods, and even on the beverage station with a variety of keurig coffees for the parents.

The party favors were "chocolate chip pancake mix in a jar" with a stuffed animal pig on top, pig pez dispensers, and a custom made "hunters house of pancakes" plastic cup to recreate the party at their house another morning!
The party turned out so cute, was fun to see the joy in all the kids faces that morning and I look forward to creating next years theme party!

Hi Ashley! I am also planning an 'If you give a pig a pancake' party for my daughter's 3rd birthday, with a slightly different spin. I love all of your ideas and was so excited to find your page! Your invitations are darling and I would love to contact the Etsy vendor to see if she could do something similar for me. Would you mind sharing the name of the vendor? I would really appreciate it! My email address is [email protected]. Thanks, Liz D.
