'It's A Kidnapping!'

What do you do for a teenage boy who has outgrown all the little boy-themed parties?
How about something a little older...a Kidnap Breakfast!!
For those that haven't heard of if - it's when the 'party' (guests) slips over to the birthday honoree's house in the early morning hours and 'surprises' them - usually by dragging them off (kidnapping) to another home or restaurant for breakfast.
Mostly girls have them, but in this case, I had it for my son! What great fun it was to see all his big teenage friends sneak quietly into his room while he was still asleep, and scare him half to death!!!
I had set up a 'kidnap' breakfast of donuts, cinnamon rolls, mini breakfast burritos, juices, milk and water in our dining room, so they didn't have to go very far!
The purple and gold colors of their high school was the easy and colorful theme for the early morning risers!
It was simple, but an unexpected surprise for a 17-yr-old!
