Party Recap

I wanted to create a Hello Kitty baby shower for my daughter because she has always loved Hello Kitty and so do I! Sanrio has created everything else with Hello Kitty, but no baby shower party packages. I found many things on Etsy and Ebay, but everything else I had to create myself. It was a lot of work, but it was a lot of fun and everyone loved the party.

I purchased pink flower pots on clearance at Michaels craft store. I then hot glued a piece of Styrofoam at the bottom of the pot to hold the dowel. I wrapped each dowel with ribbon and hot glued it to hold it. I made the heads with a Styrofoam ball and two smaller Styrofoam balls sliced in half to make the ears, which I hot glued to the big ball. I then purchased the white mini pom poms and glued them all around each ball to create the white "fur" on the head. After I finished that, I made little ribbons for the hello kitty's and put a pin through the center to attach it in front of one of the hello kitty ears. I glued a rhinestone to each ribbon after. I attached the dowel under the center of each head and added pom poms to cover around the hole it made. I then used my paper shredder to shred up various animal print and hot pink tissue paper, which I stuffed inside the pots to cover the piece of Styrofoam inside. Sorry, I just saw this post. Thanks for looking :)
