Party Recap
For his third birthday, Jason wanted a Super Hero themed party...I wanted to actually be able to relax and enjoy the party. So, we had the party at Betty Brinn's. It was AMAZING. Worth every penny. I paid to have it be a private party before the museum actually opened. This way, he and his friends could really enjoy all the exhibts.
The staff at Betty Brinn is wonderful. They wouldn't let me lift a finger. The museum provided my little Super Heros with lots to do so I didn't have to find activites to fill the time.
The Superhero theme was in the decor. And, the gift bags all contained Super Hero Go Fish Games (from the dollar store) a Super Hero bouncy ball, a package of Super Hero crayons (8 packs of crayons, also from the dollar store) And, custom made Super Hero capes. My husband (Mr. Talented) designed Super Hero logos based on the first letter of each child's name. I then transfered the design to iron on paper and ironed them on to home made capes. The capes were really simple to make. Basically just made large pillowcases and sewed them shut on top.
The party was a hit and the kids are still using the capes a year later.
