Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

we ordered fried chicken, two different sub sandwiches, chips, potato salad, macaroni salad, and a jello type of dessert. I also had a Wilson (red train) set up and behind him was "train cars" and inside each was vegetable car, fruit car (strawberries and blueberries), log car (pretzels), and an animal car (animal crackers).

  • What People Drank

We had strawberry lemonade, coke and sprite cans, also several different 2 liters, coke in a bottle, and root beer in a bottle, Gatorade, and water.

  • Best Moment

When my son saw his new Chuggington bike. He loved it and the horn that came with it.

  • Funniest Moment

When the big kids pinned me with the caboose.

  • Best Dressed

My son of course - in his custom made Chuggington shirt.

  • Desserts

I had a huge Chuggington cake, cupcakes, train smoke (marshmallows), quarry rocks (chocolate rocks), coal (black gumballs), railroad sign cookies and #2 cookies, red and white sixlets, train suckers, and road sign suckers.

  • Party Favors

when the kids walked in, each got a bandana (red for boys, purple for girls), a train whistle, and train fare (muslin bag stamped with a train and inside was 2 chocolate coins). After the party they headed to baggage claim to pick up their suitcase - inside was a chuggington bubble wand that I made, railroad sign Frisbee, mustache glasses and a ring, candy, grow your own coal, Chuggington stickers, Chuggington rings.

  • Activities / Games

We plated Pin the Caboose (this was so funny with the bigger kids) and toss the coal (black cardboard box with coal stress balls I found from Oriental Trading). We did this while waiting for the face painter to show up.

  • Budget

    $400
