Jaxon's Turtle-y 3rd Birthday Party

We had my son's 3rd birthday at the park district again. Rented out a huge room and had TMNT theme. We had a face painter for an hour and I made some games to hold us over. It was a quick 2 hour party. Everyone loved the dessert table as always and everything was gone by the end of the party.

• What People Ate

  American and Italian subsandwiches, pizza, potato salad, fruit platter, veggie platter, chips.

• What People Drank

  several different kinds of pop: pepsi, cherry pepsi, mug root beer, strawberry and orange crush, water, sierra mist, capri suns.

• Desserts

  On the dessert table I had: tmnt and pizza cookies, rat suckers with sixlets (" sewer rats") , orange, purple, red, and blue gumballs, lime Jell-O was the "ooze", watermelon Jell-O and sour cream as the "Krang Brain", pretzels covered in green chocolate " Casey Jone's Hockey sticks", Hershey bars with tmnt wrappers and Hershey nuggets with tmnt wrappers, tmnt gummy pizzas.

• Party Favors

  The party favors were 8 inch pizza boxes for all the bigger kids. The "tween boys" each got a redbox code, popcorn, slimjims, pack of gum, tmnt chapstick. The "tween girls" got redbox code, popcorn, pack of gum, nail polish, and tmnt chapstick, and the little kids got various tmnt toys, and the babies got a tmnt plate, bowl, fork/spoon set, tmnt coloring pack, and a birthday rubber duck.

• Activities / Games

  I had a face painter for an hour. My tmnt costume person bailed on me so I had to make up games. I had tmnt ball toss in the buckets, pizza toss game ( cardboard pizza boxes with Frisbee), and we played pin the pizza on Michelangelo.
