This year my son has become very involved in Taekwondo. He asked to have his party at his taekwondo academy, so I agreed, even though this is the first birthday party we have not had at our home. I was concerned about being able to focus on the details, but it turned out great! I decided to go with a theme using the nine belt colors of taekwondo. My son is a green belt, so I used this as my dominant color

    Activities were provided by his taekwondo instructor, Mr D, and included taekwondo and dodge ball

    Take out type boxes filled with martial art items, chocolate bars I molded in the shape of boys in karate poses and bubble gum balls in the nine belt colors

    Pizza was delivered about 1/2 way through the party

    The children had fruit punch with "Hai-Ya Punch" labels a
